Deborah Olson graduated with honors from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas, in 1997 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree.
In 2001 Ms. Olson graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology. Her Master’s Thesis was on Attachment and Fear of Intimacy in Romantic Relationships. She completed her 3000 hour post-graduate degree counselor internship and passed the National Counselor Exam in 2005. She became a fully Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas in 2006. She has been in private practice in Kingwood, Texas since 2006. She was also an Adjunct Professor at Kingwood College and taught courses in Psychology, and Child Growth and Development. She worked as a Registered Nurse in the areas of OB/Gyn which included: Labor and Delivery, Newborn Nursery, Special Care Nursery, Postpartum unit, High Risk OB unit, and Gyn floor. She has taught classes in newborn care, breast feeding, birth control, and postpartum health.
Personal: Ms. Olson has been married for 30 years and is the mother to four children, two girls and two boys.
